Li said that under the strategic guidance of the heads of state of both countries, China-ROK relations have been making refreshing progress.

China consistently places relations with the ROK high on its regional diplomatic agenda and stands ready to work with the ROK to uphold good neighborliness and friendship, strengthen strategic communication, consolidate political mutual trust, seek common ground while shelving differences, and build more consensus, so as to continuously advance bilateral relations along the right track and better serve the wellbeing of the two peoples, said the premier.

Noting that China and the ROK are important economic and trade partners, Li said the two sides have fully leveraged their economic complementarity and achieved fruitful results in cooperation since they established diplomatic relations more than 30 years ago, greatly contributing to the development of both countries.

The ROK is willing to maintain close dialogue and exchanges with China, deepen the mutually beneficial cooperation in economy, trade and other fields, and joint keep abreast with the times in pursuit of win-win cooperation.

The president said the ROK side actively encourages its enterprises to expand cooperation with China and welcomes Chinese enterprises to invest and start businesses in his country.
