The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas)'s spokesperson Hazem Qassem said on Saturday that they have reached a decision to dissolve its government entities currently administering the Gaza Strip.
In a press statement, Qassem confirmed that Hamas is prepared to hand over all administrative responsibilities to a "technocratic committee" and is committed to facilitating all necessary procedures to ensure its effective operation.
Hamas political bureau member Basem Naim on Friday said that Hamas is ready to engage positively and constructively with the second phase of the plan to end the war in the enclave.
