The United States and Iran are at a possible precipice of renewed conflict as U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he had canceled "all meetings" with Iranian officials, while the Iranian military vowed stronger response against any new act of aggression.

In a morning post on Truth Social on Tuesday, Trump urged Iranians to keep protesting, and said "help is on its way." But he did not offer any details.

Meanwhile, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said on Monday that diplomacy remains the preferred approach for the United States to deal with Iran, though the Trump administration will not rule out military options if necessary.

Furthermore, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Tuesday that the U.S. military and its regional partners had opened a new air defense operations cell at the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar to enhance integrated air and missile defense.

The Al Udeid Air Base was previously targeted by Iranian missiles in a retaliatory attack last June following U.S. strikes on Tehran's nuclear facilities. The base is the largest military installation of the United States in the Middle East.

CENTCOM said the new cell is made up of personnel from the U.S. and its regional partners, and will be responsible for planning multinational exercises, conducting drills, responding to contingencies, and sharing information and threat warnings.

In its response, the Iranian military said on Tuesday that its troops had significantly improved their abilities in tackling security threats after experiencing Israel's 12-day war against the country last June, vowing stronger counterattacks against any aggression.

Iran's Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh warned on Tuesday that the Islamic Republic will respond more decisively to any new act of aggression.

Regarding the latest threats made by the U.S. president and several White House officials, Nasirzadeh said that if the threats are turned into actions, Iran will defend itself with full force, and that the countries providing assistance to the United States will become legitimate targets.

Les États-Unis et l'Iran sont au bord d'un possible conflit. Le président américain Donald Trump a déclaré mardi avoir annulé toutes les réunions avec les responsables iraniens, tandis que l'armée iranienne a promis une riposte plus ferme face à toute nouvelle agression.

Dans un message publié mardi matin sur Truth Social, Trump a exhorté les Iraniens à poursuivre les manifestations et a affirmé que "l'aide est en route", sans toutefois fournir de détails.

Parallèlement, la porte-parole de la Maison-Blanche, Karoline Leavitt, a déclaré lundi que la diplomatie restait la voie privilégiée pour gérer le dossier iranien, même si l'administration Trump n'excluait pas le recours à l'intervention militaire si nécessaire.

De plus, le Commandement central des États-Unis (CENTCOM) a annoncé mardi que l'armée américaine et ses partenaires régionaux avaient ouvert une nouvelle cellule d'opérations de défense aérienne sur la base aérienne d'Al Udeid, au Qatar, afin de renforcer la défense aérienne et antimissile intégrée.

La base aérienne d'Al Udeid avait déjà été la cible de missiles iraniens en juin dernier, lors d'une attaque de représailles suite aux frappes américaines contre les installations nucléaires de Téhéran. Cette base est la plus grande installation militaire américaine au Moyen-Orient.

Le CENTCOM a indiqué que la nouvelle cellule, composée de personnel américain et de ses partenaires régionaux, sera chargée de planifier des exercices multinationaux, de mener des manœuvres, de répondre aux imprévus et de partager des informations et des alertes de menaces.

En réponse, l'armée iranienne a déclaré mardi que ses troupes avaient considérablement amélioré leurs capacités à faire face aux menaces sécuritaires après avoir subi l'offensive israélienne de douze jours en juin dernier, promettant des contre-attaques plus fermes en cas d'agression.

Le ministre iranien de la Défense, Aziz Nasirzadeh, a averti mardi que la République islamique répondrait avec plus de fermeté à tout nouvel acte d'agression.

Concernant les dernières menaces proférées par Trump et plusieurs responsables de la Maison-Blanche, M. Nasirzadeh a affirmé que si ces menaces se concrétisaient, l'Iran se défendrait avec toute sa force et que les pays fournissant l'assistance aux États-Unis deviendraient des cibles légitimes.

Estados Unidos e Irán parecen aproximarse a un nuevo conflicto tras las recientes declaraciones del presidente estadounidense Donald Trump, quien afirmó haber cancelado "todas las reuniones" con funcionarios iraníes, y por su parte, el ejército iraní prometió una respuesta más enérgica contra cualquier agresión.

Die Vereinigten Staaten und der Iran stehen möglicherweise vor einer neuen Eskalation: US-Präsident Donald Trump erklärte am Dienstag, er habe „alle Treffen“ mit iranischen Vertretern abgesagt, während das iranische Militär mit einer deutlich schärferen Reaktion auf jede weitere Aggression drohte.

Als Reaktion erklärte das iranische Militär am Dienstag, seine Truppen hätten nach dem zwölftägigen Israel-Iran-Krieg im Juni vergangenen Jahres ihre Fähigkeiten zur Abwehr von Sicherheitsbedrohungen deutlich verbessert. Es drohte mit deutlich massiveren Gegenangriffen auf jede Form von Aggression gegen iranisches Territorium.

Der iranische Verteidigungsminister Aziz Nasirzadeh warnte am Dienstag, dass sein Land entschlossener auf jede neue Aggression reagieren werde.

In Bezug auf die jüngsten Drohungen des US-Präsidenten und mehrerer Beamter des Weißen Hauses sagte Nasirzadeh, dass der Iran sich mit aller Kraft verteidigen werde, sollten die Drohungen in Taten umgesetzt werden. Länder, die den Vereinigten Staaten Hilfe leisten, würden damit zu legitimen Zielen.
