The China Media Group (CMG)'s 2026 Spring Festival Web Gala will air Tuesday night across TV, mobile apps and online platforms, blending pop and traditional culture with cutting-edge technologies.

Starting at 20:00, the gala will be broadcast on CCTV-1, CCTV-3 and multiple digital platforms. Featuring dances, songs and other performances, this year's show highlights a vibrant mix of pop culture and traditional Chinese arts, incorporating artificial intelligence, virtual reality and 3D technology for an enhanced audiovisual experience.

Watching the annual show has become a new tradition in China, especially among younger audiences. The gala is usually broadcast on the traditional Xiaonian Festival, literally the "Little New Year," also known as the Kitchen God Festival, which falls on Tuesday this year and marks the start of the countdown to the Chinese New Year.

Since its debut in 2011, the Spring Festival Web Gala has established itself as a cultural tradition marking the approach of the lunar New Year.

The Spring Festival, which falls on Feb 17 this year, marks the start of the Chinese New Year, the most important holiday in China. This year ushers in the Year of the Horse, the seventh animal in the 12-year Chinese zodiac cycle.

1.2026年「ネット春晩」のクリップ

　中国の旧正月「春節」は、7日前の旧暦12月23日「小年」から本格的な準備が始まる。今年の「小年」にあたる10日、中央広播電視総台（チャイナ・メディア・グループ/CMG）は特別番組「2026ネット春晩」を放送する。

　午後8時からCCTVの1と3チャンネルで放送、モバイルアプリやオンラインプラットフォームなどでも同時配信される。歌や踊りなどのパフォーマンスが披露される「ネット春晩」は、ポップカルチャーと中国の伝統文化を先端技術で融合させる内容が特徴だ。人工知能（AI）、仮想現実（VR）、3D技術も取り入れ、視聴者に視聴覚の饗宴を届ける予定だ。

　この年次番組の視聴は、特に若い世代を中心に、中国の新しい伝例となりつつある。中国では「小年」の日に、大掃除や年越し用品を購入し、かまどを司る神様を祀るなどの風習がある。

　2011年の初回放送以来、「ネット春晩」は旧正月の訪れを告げる文化的なシンボルとして広く愛されている。

　今年の春節は17日にあたる。今年は十二支の7番目にあたる「午」であり、「馬の年」となる。
