Tehran was attacked again on Monday, with explosions erupting in multiple locations across the city almost simultaneously.

Later that day, the Israel Defense Forces confirmed that the Israeli Air Force had launched a new round of large-scale airstrikes on Tehran.

The conflict entered its third day on Monday.

It began as the United States and Israel launched joint combat operations against Iran on Saturday. Iran retaliated with a series of counterattacks against U.S. and Israeli targets across the region. Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and several senior Iranian officials were confirmed killed in the strikes.

"Now we can hear the fighter jets flying over Tehran. In the direction I'm pointing, eastern Tehran, at least five locations in central Tehran, as well as areas in the west and north, were attacked almost simultaneously, with massive explosions occurring," said China Media Group (CMG) reporter Li Jiannan at around 14:20 local time in northern Tehran.

According to Li, a significant blast was observed about two to three kilometers from his point of reporting, likely in the vicinity of the Iranian Ministry of Defense.

According to preliminary reports from the reporter, from 14:20 to 15:00, at least 10 locations throughout Tehran experienced explosions.
