Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian released a statement on early Wednesday morning following the death of Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, vowing to take revenge.

Pezeshkian said that Larijani was fully committed to promoting regional peace and security. His death is an irreparable and huge loss, and the murderer will surely be severely punished.

Seyed Majid Mousavi, chief commander of the Aerospace Division of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), said more intensive attacks will be launched on the enemy.
