The first CMG Chinese Film Festival, themed "Gathering Strength and Meeting in Spring," was held in Beijing on Friday evening.

With a focus on the "Film Plus" ecosystem, the event presented multiple awards.

"Dead To Rights," a film depicting the Nanjing Massacre during World War II, won five awards, including the "Drama Film of the Year" prize, while animated blockbuster "Ne Zha 2" won three, including the "Animated Film of the Year."
