South China's Hainan Province has taken measures to facilitate entries for participants of the upcoming Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2026, scheduled for March 24 to 27 in the coastal town of Boao.

This year's event is themed "Shaping a Shared Future: New Dynamics, New Opportunities, New Cooperation."

Hainan's three main airports, namely, Haikou Meilan International Airport, Sanya Phoenix International Airport and Qionghai Boao International Airport, are the key entry and exit ports for the annual meeting. They have reported a surge in arrivals of guests from various countries starting on Sunday.

To provide convenience for the visitors, special inspection channels have been set up at all airport ports.

Meanwhile, efforts have been strengthened to issue and review visas and temporary entry permits at ports of entry for those who haven't applied for visas in advance and need to travel to other parts of China.

On Sunday Morning, a flight from Singapore arrived at Haikou Meilan International Airport in Haikou City.

At special inspection channels designated for Boao Forum participants, customs officers quickly completed inspection processes for this first group of guests.
