The United States and Israel continued their military strikes against Iran on Monday, while Iran launched multiple waves of attacks against U.S. and Israeli targets as part of Operation True Promise-4.
The U.S. Central Command on Monday released new footage showing precision strikes targeting Iran's drone infrastructure, including launch sites and key facilities linked to unmanned aerial operations.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement that it had carried out strikes against infrastructure in the Iranian capital of Tehran and targeted the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), according to reports by The Times of Israel on Monday.
The IDF also said that it had struck multiple Iranian military bases and weapons production facilities, including a military base of the IRGC's Quds Force and a missile production site under the Iranian Ministry of Defense.
Iran's IRGC said in a statement on Monday that it carried out its 75th, 76th and 77th waves of Operation True Promise-4.
During the 76th wave of attacks, the IRGC struck U.S. military bases with drones and missiles, as well as military infrastructure in Tel Aviv and other areas in Israel.
During the 77th wave of the operation, the IRGC attacked targets in multiple regions of Israel, and the U.S. Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
A military source of Iran said on Monday that Iran has prepared new surprises for the fighting in the coming days, the implementation of which could yield significant results.
The U.S. government is witnessing the failure of all its military options and is seeking a way out of its predicament, thus shifting the conflict from the actual battlefield to social networks, according to the source.
On the same day, Seyed Majid Mousavi, chief commander of the IRGC's Aerospace Division said in a pose on social media that the battle will continue until national objectives are achieved.
Meanwhile, Iranian Energy Minister Abbas Aliabadi said on Monday that power plants across the country are ready to operate at full capacity, while workers continue their efforts to ensure the uninterrupted supply of electricity and water.
The statement came in response to U.S. President Donald Trump's threat to target Iran's power infrastructure.
The U.S. threat violates international law, Aliabadi said, adding that an attack on Iran's power facilities is tantamount to an attack on the Iranian people.
The developments came amid heightened tensions following joint U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran starting on Feb 28, to which Iran and its regional allies responded with attacks on Israel and U.S. interests across the Middle East.
