A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman reiterated China's stance over the port issues in Panama on Friday.

Lin Jian, the spokesman, responded to a media query on relevant port issues in Panama at a regular press briefing in Beijing.

"China's stance on the relevant port issues in Panama is clear. The U.S. made repeated and unwarranted accusations only expose its own plot to seize control of the canal," said Lin.
