"Indeed, all parties are highly concerned about restoring peace and stability in the Strait of Hormuz as soon as possible so that normal navigation can resume. The Strait and its adjacent waters are a vital international channel for goods and energy trade. The key at present is to cease military operations as soon as possible. Only by doing so can peace and stability be restored in the Middle East and the Gulf region. This is an outcome that the international community hopes for. All parties should make joint efforts toward this goal. China stands ready to continue playing a constructive role in this regard."
