Russia said on Tuesday that its forces had continued their strikes on Ukrainian military facilities in the past 24 hours, while Ukraine, on the same day, reported attacking Russian oil storage tanks.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said in its latest report that over the past day, Russian forces struck Ukrainian energy and transportation infrastructure, military enterprises, military airfields, and facilities for unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned surface vessels.

The Russian air defense systems shot down three guided aerial bombs and 217 fixed-wing drones from Ukraine, said the ministry.

On the same day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that Ukrainian forces engaged in a total of 150 battles with Russia in the past day, with its forces repelling Russian offensives on multiple fronts.

In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that early on Tuesday, they conducted precision strikes on Russia's Ust-Luga Oil terminal in the Leningrad Oblast, hitting three large oil storage tanks.
