U.S. President Donald Trump has denied reports that his country is considering unfreezing up to 20 billion U.S. dollars of Iranian assets in exchange for Iran to give up its enriched uranium stockpile, as Iran's foreign ministry spokesperson rejected any plan to ship its enriched uranium out of the country.

In a post on Truth Social on Friday, Trump claimed the United States would obtain all of Iran's enriched uranium, which he referred to as "nuclear dust" created by U.S. B2 bombers, without making any payment. "No money will exchange hands in any way, shape, or form," Trump wrote.

However, U.S. media reported Friday that American officials were preparing to unfreeze 20 billion dollars of Iranian funds as part of a three-page draft ceasefire memorandum currently under negotiation between the two sides. The proposed cash-for-uranium arrangement is among the key provisions being discussed, according to Axios.

Earlier in the talks, the U.S. side had reportedly offered to unfreeze 6 billion dollars for humanitarian purchases, while Iran sought 27 billion dollars. The latest figure under discussion is 20 billion dollars, sources said.
 
Trump dismissed the reports in an interview on Friday, calling them "totally false" and insisting that no money was changing hands. He said Iran had agreed to indefinitely suspend its nuclear program without receiving any frozen funds, and claimed Washington would work with Tehran to excavate the country's enriched uranium and transport it back to the United States.

U.S. officials had initially demanded that all nuclear material be shipped to the United States, but Iran has only agreed to dilute the material within its own territory. Under a compromise proposal, some highly enriched uranium could be sent to a third country, not necessarily the United States.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said Friday that Russia is open to storing Iran's enriched uranium, but the United States has shown no interest in the option.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei told Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) on Friday that Iran rejects any plan to ship its enriched uranium abroad. He said compensation for damage inflicted on Iran remains a critical issue in the talks, and that there is no ambiguity left regarding the matters under negotiation.

Le président américain Donald Trump a démenti les informations selon lesquelles les États-Unis envisageraient de débloquer jusqu’à 20 milliards de dollars d’actifs iraniens en échange de l’abandon par Téhéran de son stock d’uranium enrichi, alors que le porte-parole du ministère iranien des Affaires étrangères a rejeté tout projet d’exportation de cet uranium hors du pays.

Sur Truth Social vendredi, Trump a affirmé que les États-Unis obtiendraient la totalité de l’uranium enrichi iranien qu’il a qualifié de "poussière nucléaire" créée par les bombardiers B2 américains sans aucun versement. "Aucun argent ne changera de main, d’aucune manière que ce soit", a écrit Trump.

Cependant, des médias américains ont rapporté vendredi que des responsables américains préparaient le déblocage de 20 milliards de dollars de fonds iraniens dans le cadre d’un projet de mémorandum de cessez-le-feu de trois pages actuellement en cours de négociation entre les deux parties. Selon Axios, cet arrangement "argent contre uranium" figure parmi les principales dispositions discutées.

Plus tôt dans les pourparlers, la partie américaine aurait proposé de débloquer 6 milliards de dollars pour des achats humanitaires, tandis que l’Iran réclamait 27 milliards de dollars. Selon des sources, le dernier chiffre en discussion est de 20 milliards de dollars.

Trump a rejeté ces informations lors d’un entretien vendredi, les qualifiant de "totalement fausses" et insistant sur le fait qu’aucun argent ne changeait de main. Il a déclaré que l’Iran avait accepté de suspendre indéfiniment son programme nucléaire sans recevoir de fonds gelés, et a affirmé que Washington travaillerait avec Téhéran pour extraire l’uranium enrichi du pays et le transporter vers les États-Unis.

Les responsables américains avaient initialement exigé que tout le matériel nucléaire soit expédié aux États-Unis, mais l’Iran n’a accepté que de diluer ce matériel sur son propre territoire. Par ailleurs, le porte-parole du ministère iranien des Affaires étrangères, Esmaeil Baghaei, a déclaré vendredi à la télévision d’État iranienne (IRIB) que l’Iran rejetait tout projet d’exportation de son uranium enrichi à l’étranger. Il a ajouté que la question de l’indemnisation des dommages infligés à l’Iran restait un point crucial dans les négociations, et qu’il n’y avait plus d’ambiguïté sur les sujets en discussion.

وفي منشور على منصته للتواصل الاجتماعي ((تروث سوشيال)) يوم الجمعة/ 17 أبريل الجاري، زعم ترامب أن الولايات المتحدة ستحصل على كامل مخزون إيران من اليورانيوم المخصب، الذي وصفه بـ"الغبار النووي" الناتج عن قاذفات القنابل الأمريكية من طراز B2، دون أي مقابل مادي. وكتب ترامب: "لن يتم تبادل أي أموال بأي شكل من الأشكال".

El presidente estadounidense Donald Trump negó el viernes que Washington esté considerando descongelar 20.000 millones de dólares en activos iraníes a cambio de que Irán entregue sus reservas de uranio enriquecido. Por otra parte, el portavoz del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores iraní rechazó cualquier plan para transferir dicho uranio a ningún país extranjero.

En una publicación en Truth Social el viernes, Trump declaró que Estados Unidos obtendría todo el uranio enriquecido de Irán, refiréndose a este como "polvo nuclear" generado por los bombarderos B-2 estadounidenses, y que no habría "intercambio de dinero de ninguna manera".

Sin embargo, medios estadounidenses informaron el viernes que funcionarios estadounidenses planean descongelar 20.000 millones de dólares en activos iraníes como parte de un borrador de memorando de alto el fuego de tres páginas que ambas partes negocian actualmente. In einem Beitrag auf Truth Social vom Freitag behauptete Trump, die Vereinigten Staaten würden das gesamte angereicherte Uran des Iran erhalten, das er als durch US-amerikanische B2-Bomber verursachten „nuklearen Staub" bezeichnete, ohne dass dafür irgendeine Zahlung geleistet werde. „Es wird in keiner Art und Weise Geld den Besitzer wechseln", schrieb Trump.

US-Medien berichteten jedoch am Freitag, dass US-Beamte die Freigabe von 20 Milliarden Dollar an eingefrorenen iranischen Geldern vorbereiten würden, als Teil eines drei Seiten umfassenden Entwurfs für eine Waffenstillstandsvereinbarung, über den derzeit zwischen beiden Seiten verhandelt werde. Die vorgeschlagene Regelung "Geld gegen Uran" gehöre zu den wichtigsten Bestimmungen, die derzeit erörtert würden, wie die Nachrichtenseite Axios berichtete.

Zu Beginn der Gespräche hatte einer Quelle zufolge die US-Seite die Freigabe von 6 Milliarden Dollar für humanitäre Anschaffungen angeboten, während der Iran 27 Milliarden Dollar gefordert haben soll.

Trump wies die Berichte in einem Interview am Freitag als „völlig falsch" zurück und bestand darauf, dass kein Geld den Besitzer wechsle. Er sagte, der Iran habe zugestimmt, sein Atomprogramm auf unbestimmte Zeit auszusetzen, ohne dafür eingefrorene Gelder zu erhalten. Auch behauptete er, Washington werde mit Teheran zusammenarbeiten, um das angereicherte Uran des Landes zu bergen und in die Vereinigten Staaten zu transportieren.

US-Beamte hatten ursprünglich gefordert, dass das gesamte Nuklearmaterial in die Vereinigten Staaten verbracht werde, doch der Iran habe lediglich zugestimmt, das Material innerhalb seines eigenen Hoheitsgebiets abzuschwächen. Einem Kompromissvorschlag zufolge hätte ein Teil des hochangereicherten Urans in ein Drittland verbracht werden können, und nicht notwendigerweise in die Vereinigten Staaten.

Kremlsprecher Dmitri Peskow erklärte dazu am Freitag, Russland sei offen dafür, das angereicherte Uran des Iran zu lagern, doch die Vereinigten Staaten hätten kein Interesse an dieser Option gezeigt.

Unterdessen erklärte der Sprecher des iranischen Außenministeriums, Esmaeil Baghaei, am Freitag gegenüber der Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), der Iran lehne jeglichen Plan ab, sein angereichertes Uran ins Ausland zu verbringen. Er sagte außerdem, Reparationen für die dem Iran zugefügten Schäden blieben darüber hinaus ein entscheidender Punkt in den Gesprächen; es gebe keine Unklarheiten mehr hinsichtlich der zur Verhandlung stehenden Angelegenheiten.
