Russian President Vladimir Putin met Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi in St. Petersburg on Monday to discuss bilateral cooperation and the situation in the Middle East.

Before he arrived in St. Petersburg, Araghchi had said that discussions with the Russian side would include regional developments around the U.S.-Israel war on Iran.

During the meeting, Putin conveyed his wishes to Araghchi for the health and well-being of Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.

Putin also said he has received a message from Khamenei.

"At the beginning of the conversation, I would like to note that last week I received a message from the Supreme Leader of Iran," Putin said.

Putin said Moscow intends to continue developing strategic relations with Iran, is willing to make efforts to help secure peace in the Middle East at an early date, and hopes that the Iranian people will pass through the current period of trials and that peace will come.

"We will do everything that meets your interests and the interests of all the peoples of the region to achieve this peace as quickly as possible," Putin was quoted as saying.

Araghchi thanked Putin for Russia's support for Iran, and conveyed to Putin the best wishes of Khamenei and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

He said that the strategic partnership between Iran and Russia will be strengthened, and that the Iranian people, with their courage, are capable of resisting American aggression.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov, and Igor Kostyukov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, also attended the meeting.

Representatives on the Iranian side included Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi and Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali.

Le président russe Vladimir Poutine a rencontré lundi à Saint-Pétersbourg le ministre iranien des Affaires étrangères Abbas Araghchi pour discuter de la coopération bilatérale et de la situation au Moyen-Orient.

Avant son arrivée à Saint-Pétersbourg plus tôt dans la journée, M. Araghchi a indiqué que les discussions avec les dirigeants russes porteraient notamment sur les développements régionaux autour de la guerre américano-isaélienne avec l'Iran.

Le ministre russe des Affaires étrangères Sergueï Lavrov, le conseiller présidentiel Iouri Ouchakov et Igor Kostioukov, chef de la direction principale du renseignement de l'état-major général des forces armées russes, étaient également présents à la réunion.

L'Iran était notamment représentée par le vice-ministre des Affaires étrangères, Kazem Gharibabadi, et l'ambassadeur d'Iran en Russie, Kazem Jalali.

Au cours de la rencontre, M. Poutine a déclaré que Moscou avait l'intention de continuer à développer des relations stratégiques avec l'Iran, frerait des efforts pour contribuer au retour de la paix au Moyen-Orient au plus tôt, et espérait que le peuple iranien surmontera cette période d'épreuves et que la paix reviendra, a rapporté l'agence de presse officielle RIA Novosti.

التقى الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين، يوم الاثنين/27 أبريل الجاري، وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي، لبحث التعاون الثنائي والوضع في الشرق الأوسط.

وقبل وصوله إلى سان بطرسبرج في وقت سابق من نفس اليوم، صرح عراقجي بأن المباحثات مع الجانب الروسي ستتناول التطورات الإقليمية المتعلقة بالحرب الأمريكية-الإسرائيلية على إيران.

وخلال المحادثات، قال بوتين إن موسكو تعتزم مواصلة تطوير العلاقات الاستراتيجية مع إيران، وإنها على استعداد لبذل الجهود للمساهمة في إحلال السلام في الشرق الأوسط في أقرب وقت، وأعرب عن أمله في أن يتجاوز الشعب الإيراني هذه المرحلة الصعبة وأن يسود السلام، وفقا لما ذكرت وكالة أنباء ((ريا نوفوستي)) الرسمية.

ونُقل عن بوتين قوله "سنبذل كل ما في وسعنا لتحقيق مصالحكم ومصالح جميع شعوب المنطقة، سعيا لتحقيق هذا السلام بأسرع وقت ممكن".

كما أعلن أنه تلقى رسالة من المرشد الأعلى الإيراني مجتبى خامنئي.

وقال بوتين "في بداية الحديث، أود أن أشير إلى أنني تلقيت الأسبوع الماضي رسالة من المرشد الأعلى الإيراني".

ومن جانبه، أعرب عراقجي عن شكره لبوتين على دعم روسيا لإيران، ونقل إلى بوتين أطيب تمنيات خامنئي والرئيس الإيراني مسعود بيزشكيان.

وأكد أن الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين إيران وروسيا ستتعزز، وأن الشعب الإيراني، بشجاعته، قادر على مقاومة العدوان الأمريكي.

حضر الاجتماع وزير الخارجية الروسي سيرجي لافروف والمساعد الرئاسي يوري أوشاكوف، وأيضا إيجور كوستيوكوف، رئيس مديرية الاستخبارات الرئيسية في هيئة الأركان العامة للقوات المسلحة الروسية.

وكان من بين الحضور من الجانب الإيراني نائب وزير الخارجية كاظم غريب آبادي والسفير الإيراني لدى روسيا كاظم جلالي.

Россия будет делать все, чтобы мир на Среднем Востоке наступил как можно быстрее. Об этом, по сообщению РИА-Новости, заявил 27 апреля президент России Владимир Путин на встрече с министром иностранных дел Ирана Аббасом Арагчи в Санкт-Петербурге.

"Со своей стороны, будем делать все, что отвечает вашим интересам, отвечает интересам всех народов региона, для того чтобы этот мир был достигнут как можно быстрее", – пообещал Владимир Путин.

"Очень надеемся на то, что, опираясь на это мужество и стремление к независимости, иранский народ пройдет под руководством нового лидера этот сложный период испытаний – и наступит мир", – подчеркнул российский лидер.

"Хочу попросить передать самые искренние слова благодарности [за послание от верховного лидера Ирана Моджтабы Хаменеи] и подтвердить, что Россия так же, как и Иран, намерена продолжать наши стратегические отношения" – добавил Владимир Путин.

Аббас Арагчи поблагодарил Москву за поддержку Тегерана. Он высоко оценил отношения двух стран и отметил, что они будут укрепляться. Дипломат добавил, что Иран продолжит бороться с агрессией США.

С российской стороны во встрече приняли участие министр иностранных дел РФ Сергей Лавров, помощник президента Юрий Ушаков, начальник Главного управления Генерального штаба Вооруженных сил РФ Игорь Костюков. В состав иранской делегации помимо Аббаса Арагчи вошли его заместитель Казем Гарибабади и посол Ирана в Москве Казем Джалали.

El presidente de Rusia, Vladímir Putin, se reunió el lunes en San Petersburgo con el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de Irán, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, para discutir la cooperación bilateral y la evolución de la situación en Oriente Medio.

A su llegada a San Petersburgo, Araghchi había anticipado que las conversaciones con la parte rusa abordarían los acontecimientos regionales derivados de la guerra de Estados Unidos e Israel contra Irán.

Durante el encuentro, Putin dijo que la semana pasada recibió un mensaje del líder supremo de Irán, Mojtaba Jamenei.

"Haremos todo lo que esté en consonancia con sus intereses y los intereses de todos los pueblos de la región para alcanzar la paz lo más rápidamente posible", señaló Putin, según reportaron medios rusos.

Por su parte, Araghchi agradeció a Putin el apoyo de Rusia a Irán y transmitió al mandatario ruso los mejores deseos de Jamenei y del presidente iraní, Masoud Pezeshkian.

El canciller iraní afirmó que la asociación estratégica entre Irán y Rusia se fortalecerá, y destacó que el pueblo iraní, con su valentía, es capaz de resistir la agresión estadounidense.

A la reunión asistieron el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores ruso, Serguéi Lavrov; el asesor presidencial, Yuri Ushakov; y el jefe de la Dirección Principal de Inteligencia del Estado Mayor de las Fuerzas Armadas de la Federación de Rusia, Igor Kostyukov.

Entre los representantes de la parte iraní se encontraban el viceministro de Relaciones Exteriores, Kazem Gharibabadi, y el embajador de Irán en Rusia, Kazem Jalali.
