A women's football club from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) arrived in the Republic of Korea (ROK) on Sunday to compete in the AFC Women's Champions League.

The 27 players and a 12-member staff of Pyongyang-based Naegohyang Women's Football Club landed at Incheon International Airport Sunday afternoon, marking the first appearance of DPRK women's football players in the ROK in 12 years since the 2014 Incheon Asian Games.

The DPRK women footballers will play against ROK's Suwon Women's FC in the semi-final on Wednesday, with the winner advancing to this year's championship game.
