Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Hangzhou on Saturday for an official visit to China that will run through Tuesday, at the invitation of Premier Li Qiang.

During his stay in Hangzhou, Sharif is expected to attend signing ceremonies, meet local officials, and visit Chinese technology companies.

One of the key events will be a business-to-business investment summit on Sunday, bringing together senior executives and industry leaders from both countries. The focus is expected to be on investment opportunities in artificial intelligence, the digital economy and advanced manufacturing.

Sharif is expected to meet with President Xi Jinping and hold talks with Li in Beijing afterwards. He will also attend a reception marking the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan.

　李強国務院総理の招きを受け、パキスタンのシャバズ・シャリフ首相は23日、浙江省杭州市に到着し、4日間の日程で中国への公式訪問をスタートさせた。

　杭州滞在中、シャリフ首相は調印式への出席、地元当局者との会談、中国のテクノロジー企業への見学を行う予定だ。
　
　主要行事の一つとして、24日には両国の高官や業界リーダーが一堂に会する企業間投資サミットが開催される。人工知能（AI）、デジタル経済、先端製造分野における投資機会に焦点が当てられる見込みだ。

　その後、習近平国家主席と李総理はそれぞれ北京でシャリフ首相と会見し、会談を行う予定だ。シャリフ首相はまた、中国とパキスタンの国交樹立75周年を記念するレセプションにも出席する。
