China welcomes the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the United States and Iran, and appreciates Pakistan's mediation efforts, Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Lin Jian said on Monday.

Iran's Supreme National Security Council said early Monday that a MoU between Tehran and Washington has been finalized, and the war and military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon, have ceased immediately and permanently.

"China welcomes the agreement reached by the United States and Iran on the contents of the first-phase MoU and appreciates the mediation efforts made by Pakistan. China hopes that the United States and Iran will sign the first-phase MoU as scheduled, and that all relevant parties will adhere to peaceful choices and resolve the issue through dialogue and negotiation. La Chine salue le protocole d'accord conclu entre les États-Unis et l'Iran et apprécie les efforts de médiation du Pakistan, a déclaré lundi Lin Jian, porte-parole du ministère chinois des Affaires étrangères.

Le Conseil suprême de sécurité nationale d'Iran a annoncé lundi qu'un protocole d'accord entre Téhéran et Washington avait été finalisé et que la guerre et les opérations militaires sur tous les fronts, y compris au Liban, avaient cessé immédiatement et définitivement.

Как сообщил в тот же день Высший совет национальной безопасности Ирана, текст меморандума о взаимопонимании между Тегераном и Вашингтоном согласован, а военные действия на всех фронтах, включая Ливан, немедленно и окончательно прекращены.

"Китай надеется, что США и Иран в установленные сроки подпишут первый этап меморандума о взаимопонимании, а все заинтересованные стороны будут по-прежнему привержены мирному урегулированию и разрешению вопросов путем диалога и переговоров", – заявил китайский дипломат на очередной пресс-конференции.

Китай, как добавил он, готов работать вместе с международным сообществом, чтобы и впредь играть активную роль в скорейшем восстановлении мира и спокойствия на Ближнем Востоке и в регионе Персидского залива.

Текст меморандума о взаимопонимании между Тегераном и Вашингтоном был согласован вечером 14 июня после многомесячных сложных и интенсивных переговоров. Документ будет официально подписан в Женеве 19 июня. Дальнейшие переговоры между США и Ираном по заключению окончательного соглашения будут отложены до тех пор, пока обе стороны не выполнят свои обязательства в рамках меморандума.

El Consejo Supremo de Seguridad Nacional de Irán informó a primera hora del lunes que se ha concretado un MoU entre Teherán y Washington, y que la guerra y las operaciones militares en todos los frentes, incluyendo Líbano, han cesado de manera inmediata y permanente.
