President of Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing visited Hangzhou City in east China's Zhejiang Province on Friday, where he toured the headquarters of a Chinese robotics firm and a new materials factory which uses bamboo fiber in its products.

Min Aung Hlaing arrived in Beijing on Monday for a state visit to China, at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping. The five-day visit, from June 15 to 19, marks his first state visit to China since taking office as president, and comes as the two countries mark 76 years of diplomatic ties.

On Friday, he visited Hangzhou-based Unitree Robotics, whose innovative humanoid robots have attracted significant global attention.

Unitree executives led him on a tour of the facility where he viewed static robot displays and dynamic robot dances, as well as the famous WU Bot Kung Fu robot performance that has made Unitree a globally-recognized brand.

In the last stop of his state visit to China, Min Aung Hlaing visited a new materials company in Hangzhou where bamboo is transformed into high-end green textiles and other materials, including composite material base fabric made from bamboo fiber which can be used in drones.

He toured the production line and spoke with company executives and staff before heading back to Myanmar from Hangzhou airport.
