Chinese Premier Li Qiang met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea (ROK) Kim Min-seok in Dalian City, northeast China's Liaoning Province, on Tuesday.

Li and Kim are in Dalian attending the World Economic Forum's 17th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, which is scheduled for June 23 to 25.

In their meeting, Li said China stands ready to work with the ROK to consolidate the foundation of political mutual trust, deepen cooperation in trade, semiconductors, culture and other fields, promote the building of an open Asia-Pacific economy, and safeguard the security and stability of the global industrial and supply chains.

Kim said the ROK is willing to work with China to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, expand cooperation in economy and trade, high and new technologies, people-to-people and cultural exchanges and other fields, strengthen multilateral coordination, and promote regional and international peace and stability.
