China is ready to work together with Thailand to bring bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields to a higher level, Chinese Premier Li Qiang said in talks with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand Anutin Charnvirakul in Beijing on Monday.

Noting China and Thailand are close neighbors with a long history of friendly exchanges, Li said that under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, the building of China-Thailand community with a shared future is constantly deepening and solidifying, opening up broader prospects for bilateral cooperation.

Li said China is willing to further carry forward traditional friendship with Thailand, consolidate political mutual trust, strengthen mutual support, promote mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields to a higher level, and continuously enhance the well-being of the two peoples.

China stands ready to strengthen the synergy of development strategies with Thailand, pursue high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, maintain sound growth momentum of bilateral trade, expand cooperation in emerging fields, and work together to promote common prosperity, Li said.

He expressed the hope that Thailand will provide a sound business environment for Chinese enterprises, adding that the two sides should further strengthen cooperation in law enforcement and security.
Anutin, who is on his first official visit to China, said that Thailand firmly adheres to the one-China policy and will never support any act of Taiwan secession.

Thailand is willing to maintain close high-level exchanges with China, make good use of dialog mechanisms, promote cooperation in various fields, and strive for more practical achievements in bilateral partnership, Anutin said.

He also noted that Thailand will intensify its efforts to crack down on cross-border crimes, and create a safe and sound environment for Chinese tourists and enterprises.

Thailand welcomes the four major global initiatives proposed by China and is willing to enhance communication and coordination with China on multilateral platforms, he said.

After their talks, the two leaders witnessed the signing of documents concerning cooperation in trade, science and technology, artificial intelligence education, aerospace and media.

Prior to their talks, Li held a welcome ceremony for Anutin in the Great Hall of the People.
