Slovak President Peter Pellegrini has said that bilateral relations with China have reached their "highest level in history", following a landmark state visit to China from Monday to Wednesday.

The trips marks Pellegrini's first state visit to China as the president of Slovakia.

During the visit, Pellegrini held high-level talks with Chinese leaders, and also toured cutting-edge technological sites in Beijing, including a robot mall and the headquarters of Chinese tech giant Baidu.

In an interview with China Media Group on Wednesday, Pellegrini reflected on the profound significance of the trip and the remarkable transformations he has witnessed in the country.

"It's for me, but also for Slovakia, [a] historical visit, because it is, after 23 years, again, a visit of a [Slovak] president, a state visit to China. So it is very important for the relationships between Slovakia and China. I had the chance to visit China in 2015, 2017, once as a speaker of the parliament, once as a deputy prime minister. So I can really compare, and I see the big changes which China achieved in the last decade and how complete other country I'm now visiting than it was probably 10 years ago. And I'm really impressed," said Pellegrini.

The president also expressed deep appreciation for the warm reception and the substantive discussions held during the trip.

"And of course, this visit on the highest level, and the great meeting with Mr. President (Xi Jinping), and the topics which we were discussing, I think they prove that the relationships now between China and Slovakia are now on the highest level in our history. And I'm very happy for that, and I'm very thankful for that," said Pellegrini.

Le président slovaque Peter Pellegrini, qui a effectué une visite d’État du 27 au 29 juillet en Chine, a déclaré que les relations entre la Slovaquie et la Chine avaient atteint leur "niveau le plus élevé de l’histoire".

Il s'agit de la première visite d’État de M. Pellegrini en Chine depuis qu’il a pris ses fonctions de président de la Slovaquie.

Dans une interview accordée mercredi au China Media Group (CMG), M. Pellegrini a souligné l’importance de sa visite et les transformations remarquables de la Chine dont il a été témoin.

Словацко-китайские отношения достигли "самого высокого уровня в истории", заявил президент Словакии Петер Пеллегрини в недавнем интервью Медиакорпорации Китая (CMG), прошедшем рамках его государственного визита в Китай.

Визит, состоявшийся с 27 по 29 июля, стал первым государственным визитом Петера Пеллегрини в Китай в качестве президента Словакии.

"Для меня, а также для Словакии, это исторический визит, потому что это государственный визит [словацкого] президента в Китай спустя 23 года. Это очень важно для отношений между Словакией и Китаем", – заявил Петер Пеллегрини в интервью.

В ходе визита Петер Пеллегрини провел переговоры на высоком уровне с китайскими лидерами, а также посетил передовые технологические объекты в Пекине, включая роботизированный торговый центр и штаб-квартиру китайского технологического гиганта Baidu.

"В 2015 и 2017 годах мне представилась возможность посетить Китай, один раз в качестве спикера парламента, один раз в качестве заместителя премьер-министра. Так что я действительно могу сравнить, и я вижу большие изменения, которых Китай добился за последнее десятилетие, и то, насколько стала развита страна, в которой я нахожусь сейчас, по сравнению с тем, какой она была, вероятно, лет 10 назад. Я очень впечатлен", – отметил он.

El presidente eslovaco, Peter Pellegrini, afirmó que las relaciones bilaterales con China han alcanzado su “nivel más alto en la historia”, tras una histórica visita de Estado a China que tuvo lugar del lunes al miércoles.

Se trata de la primera visita de Estado de Pellegrini a China como presidente de Eslovaquia.

Durante la visita, Pellegrini mantuvo conversaciones de alto nivel con líderes chinos y recorrió centros tecnológicos de vanguardia en Beijing, entre ellos un centro comercial de robots y la sede del gigante tecnológico chino Baidu.

En una entrevista concedida el miércoles al Grupo de Medios de China, Pellegrini reflexionó sobre el profundo significado del viaje y las notables transformaciones que ha observado en el país.

Die bilateralen Beziehungen zwischen der Slowakei und China hätten ihren „historisch höchsten Stand“ erreicht, sagte der slowakische Präsident Peter Pellegrini nach seinem Staatsbesuch in China von Montag bis Mittwoch.

Es war Pellegrinis erster Staatsbesuch in China als Präsident der Slowakei.

Während seines Besuchs traf sich Pellegrini mit chinesischen Führungskräften zu hochrangigen Gesprächen und besichtigte zudem hochmoderne Technologiezentren in Beijing, darunter ein Roboter-Einkaufszentrum sowie den Hauptsitz des chinesischen Technologiekonzerns Baidu.

In einem Interview mit der China Media Group am Mittwoch blickte Pellegrini auf die tiefgreifende Bedeutung der Reise und die bemerkenswerten Veränderungen zurück, die er in dem Land beobachten konnte.

„Für mich, aber auch für die Slowakei ist dies ein historischer Besuch. Denn es ist der erste Staatsbesuch eines slowakischen Präsidenten in China seit 23 Jahren. Er ist daher von großer Bedeutung für die Beziehungen zwischen der Slowakei und China.
