China's foreign exchange market recorded transactions worth 28.00 trillion yuan (4.11 trillion U.S. dollars) in June 2026, according to the data released by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE) on Friday.

In breakdown, the transaction volume of the client market totaled 5.18 trillion yuan (760 billion U.S. dollars), and that of the interbank market came in at 22.81 trillion yuan (3.35 trillion U.S. dollars), the data showed.

In the first six months of the year, the foreign exchange market turnover in China reached 152.21 trillion yuan ( 22.08 trillion U.S. dollars), according to the data.
