Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend a welcome ceremony hosted by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Cairo, Egypt on Wednesday.

Xi arrived in Cairo on Tuesday evening to pay a state visit to Egypt at the invitation of Sisi.

The trip marks Xi's first state visit to the country in a decade, and coincides with the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Egypt.

　習近平国家主席は2日、エジプトのアブドゥルファッターハ・エルシーシ大統領による歓迎式に出席する。

　習主席はエルシーシ大統領の招きに応じ、エジプトを国賓訪問している。1日夜、首都カイロに専用機で到着した。

　習主席にとって、今回は10年ぶりのエジプト国賓訪問となった。また、今年は両国の国交樹立70周年にもあたる。
