Chinese military companies have brought their cutting-edge weapons and equipment to the second edition of the El Alamein International Airshow which kicked off on Tuesday at El Alamein International Airport on Egypt's Mediterranean coast, showcasing China's national defense capability.

The three-day event, running from Tuesday to Thursday, features aircraft exhibitions, flying displays, and an exhibition of aerospace, defense, and space products and services, according to the show's official website.

The products brought by Chinese military enterprises this time include fighter jets, drones, transport aircraft, trainer aircraft, helicopters, anti-drone air defense systems, and precision-guided weapons for use by aircraft, fully demonstrating China's latest development achievements in related fields, as well as the systematic and intelligent development trend of China's aviation and defense equipment.

The main booth set up an onboard capability zone for the first time, showcasing airborne products such as flight gear, aviation seats, and precision airdrop systems.

Military and political delegations from multiple countries and regions visited the exhibition booths to learn about the products and held in-depth discussions on cooperation projects.

In the outdoor static display area, the China-developed Wing Loong-10B unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and its supporting weapons were displayed for the first time as full-size models at the airshow, attracting many visitors to stop and take a look.

The El Alamein International Airshow is one of the largest professional aviation and defense exhibitions in Africa and the Middle East.

　第2回エジプト航空ショーが8日から10日まで、エジプト地中海沿岸のエル・アラメイン国際空港で開催されている。同国の公式サイトによると、今回の航空ショーには航空機の地上展示や飛行パフォーマンスに加え、航空・防衛・宇宙関連の製品やサービスが出展される予定で、50カ国からの企業250社以上が参加、100機以上の航空機が展示され、約1万2000人の来場者を見込んでいる。

　この中で中国空軍が複数の戦闘機を出展するほか、中国の防衛関連企業も最新の武器・装備を一堂に展示し、中国の防衛能力をアピールしている。出展製品は戦闘機、ドローン、輸送機、練習機、ヘリコプター、対ドローン防空システム、航空用精密誘導兵器など多岐にわたり、中国の関連分野における最新の成果や、航空防衛装備の体系化・インテリジェント化の進展を余すところなく示している。

　また、ブース内には搭載能力エリアが初めて設けられ、飛行装具、航空シート、精密投下システムなどの製品が集中的に展示されている。

　複数の国・地域から軍や政府の代表団が中国企業のブースを訪れ、製品の説明を受けるとともに、協力プロジェクトについて踏み込んだ協議を進めている。

　一方、屋外の静的展示エリアでは中国製ドローン「翼龍（Wing Loong）10B」とその対応兵器が実寸大模型として初めてお披露目され、多くの来場者の足を止めている。
