China calls on all countries to jointly promote the open and inclusive development of artificial intelligence (AI) for good and for all, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said on Tuesday.

Guo made the remark at a regular press briefing in Beijing, amid media reports that China and the United States may discuss AI security in the coming weeks.

"China has more than once made clear its position on AI. China always believes that all countries should jointly promote the open and inclusive development of AI for good and for all," said Guo.

La Chine appelle tous les pays à promouvoir ensemble un développement ouvert et inclusif de l'intelligence artificielle (IA) au service du bien commun et de tous, a déclaré mardi le porte-parole du ministère chinois des Affaires étrangères, Guo Jiakun.

M. Guo a tenu ces propos lors d'un point de presse régulier à Beijing, alors que les médias ont rapporté que la Chine et les États-Unis pourraient discuter de la sécurité de l'IA dans les semaines à venir.
