1. Various of modified Long March-6 carrier rocket with satellites of Yaogan-40 04 group on board lasting off, ascending

China launched a new group of remote sensing satellites from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in the northern province of Shanxi on Thursday.

The satellites of the Yaogan-40 04 group, launched at 16:46 Beijing Time aboard a modified Long March-6 carrier rocket, have entered the preset orbits successfully.

They will be used to carry out electromagnetic environment detection and related technical tests.

The launch marked the 670th mission of the Long March carrier rockets.
