Vietnam's top leader To Lam visited the Xiong'an New Area in north China's Hebei Province on Tuesday to experience China's speed and achievements in modern urban development.

To Lam, general secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and president of Vietnam, boarded a Fuxing high-speed train to the Xiong'an New Area, shortly after arriving in Beijing for his four-day state visit to China.

Impressed by China's speed and regional integration, To Lam stressed that the two parties and the two countries should enhance cooperation, strengthen strategic alignment, and seek shared development.

"Our two countries are facing many opportunities for development. China has adopted its 15th Five-Year Plan, starting a new chapter for development in next stage. And Vietnam is implementing the plan set at the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, which set development goals," To Lam said on the train.

At the service center of the Xiongn'an New Area, To Lam was briefed on the urban planning and saw the vitality of this "city of the future." He also toured the central green valley to see the development in creating an ecological and livable urban environment.

In a signed article published in Chinese media, he said that Vietnam prioritizes science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in its national development strategy and hopes to work with China to explore new areas of development.

China has been Vietnam's largest trading partner for more than two decades. China's development has always provided inspiration and valuable experience for Vietnam, To Lam once said.

Vietnamese officials expect the visit to boost coordination and cooperation between the two countries at multiple levels and mark a new phase in building a China-Vietnam community of a shared future of strategic significance.

China announced plans to establish the Xiong'an New Area in April 2017. Since then, the city has evolved from a blueprint into a vibrant city. This new area is designed to relieve functions that are non-essential to Beijing's role as the national capital and advance coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

Le président vietnamien To Lam, en visite en Chine, a visité mardi la nouvelle zone de Xiong'an, située à une centaine de kilomètres au sud-ouest de Beijing, pôle de développement visant à décongestionner la capitale.

To Lam, qui est également le secrétaire général du Comité central du Parti communiste vietnamien, s'est rendu à Xiong'an par train à grande vitesse, peu après son arrivée à Beijing.

Impressionné par la rapidité et l'intégration régionale de la Chine, To Lam a souligné que les deux partis et les deux pays devaient renforcer leur coopération, consolider leur alignement stratégique et rechercher un développement commun.

Au centre de services de la nouvelle zone de Xiongn'an, To Lam a été informé des plans d'urbanisme et a constaté le dynamisme de cette "ville du futur". Il a également visité la vallée verte centrale afin d'observer les efforts déployés pour créer un environnement urbain écologique et agréable à vivre.

Dans un article signé publié dans les médias chinois, il a déclaré que le Vietnam accordait la priorité à la science, à la technologie, à l'innovation et à la transformation numérique dans sa stratégie de développement national et qu'il espérait collaborer avec la Chine pour explorer de nouveaux domaines de développement.

La Chine est le premier partenaire commercial du Vietnam depuis plus de deux décennies. Le développement de la Chine a toujours été une source d'inspiration et d'expérience précieuse pour le Vietnam, a déclaré To Lam.

Il espèret que cette visite renforcera la coordination et la coopération entre les deux pays à plusieurs niveaux et marquera une nouvelle étape dans la construction d’une communauté de destin Vietnam-Chine de portée stratégique.

La Chine a annoncé son projet de création de la nouvelle zone de Xiong'an en avril 2017. Depuis lors, cette zone est passée du stade de projet à celui de ville dynamique. Cette nouvelle zone est destinée à décharger Beijing des fonctions non essentielles à son rôle de capitale nationale et à favoriser le développement coordonné de la région Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.

Der vietnamesische Spitzenpolitiker Tô Lâm hat am Dienstag den Neuen Bezirk Xiong'an in Nordchina besucht, um sich ein Bild von Chinas urbaner Entwicklungsgeschwindigkeit zu machen.

Tô Lâm, Generalsekretär des Zentralkomitees der Kommunistischen Partei Vietnams und Präsident Vietnams, bestieg kurz nach seiner Ankunft in Beijing zu seinem viertägigen Staatsbesuch in China einen Hochgeschwindigkeitszug Fuxing in Richtung des Neuen Bezirks Xiong'an.

Beeindruckt von Chinas Tempo und regionaler Integration betonte Tô Lâm, dass beide Parteien und beide Länder die Zusammenarbeit vertiefen, die strategische Ausrichtung stärken und gemeinsame Entwicklung anstreben sollten.

Im Servicezentrum der Neuen Bezirks Xiong'an ließ sich Tô Lâm über die Stadtplanung informieren und erlebte die Dynamik dieser „Stadt der Zukunft“. Er besichtigte auch das zentrale grüne Tal, um sich über die Fortschritte bei der Schaffung eines ökologischen und lebenswerten Stadtumfelds zu informieren.

In einem in chinesischen Medien veröffentlichten Artikel erklärte er, Vietnam lege in seiner nationalen Entwicklungsstrategie Wert auf Wissenschaft, Technologie, Innovation und digitale Transformation und hoffe, gemeinsam mit China neue Entwicklungsfelder zu erschließen.

China sei seit über zwei Jahrzehnten Vietnams größter Handelspartner. Chinas Entwicklung habe Vietnam stets Inspiration und wertvolle Erfahrungen geboten, hatte Tô Lâm noch vor seinem Besuch gesagt.

Vietnamesische Regierungsvertreter erwarten von dem Besuch eine Stärkung der Koordination und der Zusammenarbeit zwischen beiden Ländern auf verschiedenen Ebenen sowie den Beginn einer neuen Phase beim Aufbau einer chinesisch-vietnamesischen Gemeinschaft mit strategischer Bedeutung für geteilte Zukunft.

China hatte die Pläne zur Errichtung des Neuen Bezirks Xiong'an im April 2017 angekündigt. Seitdem hat sich die Stadt von einer Entwurfsskizze zu einer pulsierenden Metropole entwickelt. Das neue Gebiet soll Funktionen entlasten, die für Beijings Rolle als Hauptstadt nicht wesentlich sind, und die koordinierte Entwicklung der Region Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei voranbringen.
