Iran's supreme leader demanded war reparations from the United States and Israel on Monday and vowed to escalate the country's management of the Strait of Hormuz, while President Donald Trump said he would not lift the U.S. blockade on Hormuz until Tehran agrees to a deal.

In a statement posted on his official social media account on Monday, Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei said that Iran would hold accountable those responsible for attacks against the country and seek compensation for wartime losses.

He also called for a new phase in the management of the Strait of Hormuz, vowing never to abandon Iran's legitimate rights and regarding all "resistance fronts" in the region as a unified whole.

On April 9, the Iranian supreme leader outlined the three principles in a written address marking 40 days since the death of former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Also on Monday, President Trump said in his social media post that the United States will not lift its blockade on Iranian ports until a deal is reached.

The U.S. forces have enforced a naval blockade on vessels entering and leaving Iranian ports since April 13, with the U.S. Central Command said one day later that Iran's maritime trade had been completely cut off.

Iran responded by opening the Strait of Hormuz to commercial shipping on April 17, but reversed course on the following day, resuming control of passage after the United States refused to lift its blockade.

Pakistan is now actively mediating in an effort to persuade the United States to end the blockade, a move seen as essential for Iran's participation in negotiations, a senior Iranian official said on Monday.

كرر المرشد الأعلى الإيراني مجتبى خامنئي، يوم الاثنين/20 أبريل الجاري، مواقفه الأساسية الثلاثة، بما في ذلك المطالبة بـ"تعويضات الحرب"، مؤكدًا أن إيران ستواصل الدفاع عن مصالحها الوطنية.

ووفقًا لبيان على حسابه الرسمي على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، فإن إيران تحمّل المسؤولية على كل من وقف وراء الهجمات التي استهدفت البلاد، وستطالب بتعويضات عن خسائر الحرب.

كما دعا إلى مرحلة جديدة في إدارة مضيق هرمز، متعهدًا بعدم التخلي أبدًا عن الحقوق المشروعة لإيران، واعتبر جميع "جبهات المقاومة" في المنطقة كيانا موحدا.

وفي وقت سابق من هذا الشهر، بالتحديد في التاسع من أبريل، أوضح مجتبى هذه المبادئ الثلاثة في خطاب مكتوب بمناسبة مرور 40 يومًا على وفاة والده المرشد الأعلى السابق، علي خامنئي.

وفي الوقت نفسه، قال الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب يوم الاثنين على حسابه على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي إن الولايات المتحدة سترفع حصارها عن الموانئ الإيرانية حينما يتم التوصل إلى اتفاق.

وردت إيران بفتح مضيق هرمز أمام الشحن التجاري في 17 أبريل، لكنها رجعت عن ذلك في اليوم التالي، واستعادت السيطرة على المرور، وذلك بعد رفض الولايات المتحدة رفع حصارها.

وقال مسؤول إيراني كبير يوم الاثنين إن باكستان تقوم بنشاط بالوساطة في محاولة لإقناع الولايات المتحدة بإنهاء الحصار، وهي الخطوة التي تُعتبر ضرورية لمشاركة إيران في المفاوضات.

El líder supremo de Irán, Mojtaba Jamenei, reiteró el lunes tres puntos clave para el acuerdo de paz, entre ellos la exigencia de "reparaciones de guerra" a Estados Unidos e Israel, subrayando que Irán seguirá defendiendo sus intereses nacionales.

Según un comunicado publicado en su cuenta oficial de redes sociales, Irán exigirá responsabilidades a los autores de los ataques contra el país y buscará compensación por las pérdidas sufridas durante la guerra.

Asimismo, hizo un llamamiento a una nueva etapa en la gestión del estrecho de Ormuz, prometiendo no abandonar jamás los derechos legítimos de Irán y considerando a todos los "frentes de resistencia" de la región como una unidad.

El 9 de abril, el lider supermo iraní expuso estos tres principios en un discurso escrito con motivo del 40º aniversario de la muerte del exlíder supremo Alí Jamenei.

Mientras tanto, el presidente estadounidense, Donald Trump, declaró el lunes en sus redes sociales que Estados Unidos no levantará el bloqueo a los puertos iraníes hasta que se alcance un acuerdo.

Las fuerzas estadounidenses han impuesto un bloqueo naval a los buques que entran y salen de los puertos iraníes desde el 13 de abril. Un día después, el Comando Central de Estados Unidos declaró que el comercio marítimo de Irán quedaba completamente paralizado.

Irán respondió abriendo el estrecho de Ormuz al tráfico marítimo comercial el 17 de abril, pero dio marcha atrás al día siguiente, retomando el control del paso tras la negativa de Estados Unidos a levantar el bloqueo.

Pakistán está mediando activamente para persuadir a Estados Unidos de que ponga fin al bloqueo, una medida considerada esencial para la participación de Irán en las negociaciones, según reveló un alto funcionario iraní el lunes.
