Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said on Friday that the "Pentagon is lying" about the cost of the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran launched on February 28.

In a post on X, Araghchi said that "Netanyahu's gamble has directly cost America 100 billion U.S. dollars so far, four times what is claimed."

"Indirect costs for U.S. taxpayers are far higher. Monthly bill for each American household is 500 U.S. dollars and rising fast," he added.

Citing three people familiar with the matter, CNN reported on Friday that the 25-billion-U.S.-dollar estimate "that a top Pentagon official gave to lawmakers on Wednesday for the total cost to date of the Iran war is a lowball figure," which "does not include the cost of repairing extensive damage suffered by U.S. bases in the region."

One source said the real cost estimate is closer to 40-50 billion U.S. dollars "when accounting for the costs of rebuilding U.S. military installations and replacing destroyed assets."

Le ministre iranien des Affaires étrangères, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, hausse le ton. Vendredi 1er mai, il a accusé le Pentagone de "mentir" sur le coût réel de la guerre américano-israélienne contre l'Iran, déclenchée le 28 février dernier.

Sur le réseau social X, Araghchi a détaillé sa critique, chiffres à l'appui. Selon lui, "le pari de Netanyahou a directement coûté 100 milliards de dollars à l'Amérique jusqu'à présent". Soit quatre fois plus que ce qu'affirment les autorités militaires américaines.

Et ce n'est pas tout. "Les coûts indirects pour les contribuables américains sont bien plus élevés, a-t-il ajouté. La facture mensuelle pour chaque foyer américain atteint 500 dollars et augmente rapidement."

De son côté, la chaîne CNN a rapporté vendredi, en citant trois sources proches du dossier, que l'estimation de 25 milliards de dollars "donnée mercredi par un haut responsable du Pentagone aux législateurs" serait en réalité "une estimation basse". Pourquoi ? Parce qu'elle n'inclut pas le coût de la réparation des dégâts importants subis par les bases américaines dans la région.

Une source affirme même que le coût réel serait plus proche de 40 à 50 milliards de dollars, "si l'on tient compte de la reconstruction des installations militaires américaines et du remplacement des équipements détruits".

قال وزير الخارجية الإيراني سيد عباس عراقجي يوم الجمعة/ 1 مايو إن "البنتاغون يكذب" بشأن تكلفة الحرب الأمريكية-الإسرائيلية على إيران، والتي بدأت في 28 فبراير.

وفي منشور على موقع "إكس"، قال عراقجي إن "مغامرة نتنياهو كلّفت أمريكا حتى الآن 100 مليار دولار أمريكي، أي أربعة أضعاف ما يُعلن عنه".

وأضاف "التكاليف غير المباشرة على دافعي الضرائب الأمريكيين أعلى بكثير، إذ تبلغ الفاتورة الشهرية لكل أسرة أمريكية 500 دولار أمريكي، وهي ترتفع بسرعة".

وذكرت شبكة "سي إن إن"، نقلاً عن ثلاثة أشخاص مطلعين على الأمر، يوم الجمعة، أن تقدير 25 مليار دولار أمريكي قدّمه مسؤول كبير في البنتاغون للمشرعين يوم الأربعاء للتكلفة الإجمالية حتى الآن للحرب على إيران هو رقم منخفض للغاية"، إذ "لا يشمل تكلفة إصلاح الأضرار الجسيمة التي لحقت بالقواعد الأمريكية في المنطقة".

وأشار أحد المصادر إلى أن التقدير الحقيقي للتكلفة أقرب إلى ما بين 40 و50 مليار دولار أمريكي "عند احتساب تكاليف إعادة بناء المنشآت العسكرية الأمريكية واستبدال الأصول المدمرة".

"Пентагон лжет" о реальных расходах США на военную операцию против Ирана, начатую США и Израилем 28 февраля, заявил 1 мая министр иностранных дел Ирана Аббас Арагчи.

"Авантюра Нетаньяху уже обошлась Америке в 100 млрд долл., что в четыре раза больше заявленной суммы", – написал Аббас Арагчи в своем аккаунте в социальной сети X.

"Косвенные издержки для американских налогоплательщиков намного выше. Ежемесячный счет для каждой американской семьи составляет 500 долл. и быстро растет", – добавил он.

Ссылаясь на трех человек, знакомых с ситуацией, CNN сообщила в тот же день, что оценка в 25 млрд долл. El ministro de Asuntos Exteriores de Irán, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, afirmó el viernes que "el Pentágono miente" sobre el coste de la guerra lanzada por Estados Unidos e Israel contra Irán el 28 de febrero.

La estimación de 25.000 millones de dólares que un alto funcionario del Pentágono trasladó el miércoles a los legisladores como coste total hasta la fecha de la guerra contra Irán es una cifra a la baja que "no incluye el coste de reparar los cuantiosos daños sufridos por las bases estadounidenses en la región", según informó la CNN el viernes citando a tres fuentes conocedoras del asunto.

Una de las fuentes indicó que la estimación real del coste se acerca más a los 40.000 o 50.000 millones de dólares "cuando se contabilizan los gastos de reconstrucción de las instalaciones militares estadounidenses y la reposición de los activos destruidos".

Der iranische Außenminister Seyed Abbas Araghtschi hat den USA vorgeworfen, über die wahren Kosten des militärischen Vorgehens gegen den Iran zu lügen.

In einem Beitrag auf X erklärte Araghtschi, dass "Netanjahus Wette Amerika bisher direkt 100 Milliarden US-Dollar gekostet hat, das Vierfache dessen, was behauptet wird".

„Die indirekten Kosten für die US-Steuerzahler sind weitaus höher. Die monatliche Rechnung für jeden amerikanischen Haushalt beträgt 500 US-Dollar und steigt rasant“, fügte er hinzu.

CNN berichtete dazu am Freitag unter Berufung auf drei mit der Angelegenheit vertraute Personen, dass die Schätzung eines hochrangigen Pentagon-Beamten am Mittwoch gegenüber Abgeordneten, wonach die bisherigen Gesamtkosten des Iran-Krieges 25 Milliarden US-Dollar betragen würden, eine zu niedrige Zahl sei, da sie „die Kosten für die Reparatur der umfangreichen Schäden an den US-Stützpunkten in der Region nicht einschließt".

Nach Angaben einer der drei Quellen sollen die tatsächlichen Kosten eher bei 40 bis 50 Milliarden US-Dollar liegen, wenn man die Kosten für den Wiederaufbau der US-Militäranlagen und den Ersatz zerstörter Vermögenswerte berücksichtige.
