"China and the U.S. are two major countries that serve as the backbone of the planet, and the entire world will benefit from the meeting. 'Giant ship' is a fitting metaphor for the relation, and most importantly, the ship's navigation through stormy seas depends on two captains. Today, rising geopolitical tensions precisely suggest that such meetings could stabilize this turbulent period of time -- turbulence that is unfolding in geopolitical terms. Of course, we understand that there are differences of opinion and contradictions, but when there is a shared desire to find a way to resolve the situation, success is assured."

President Xi's new paradigm for China-U.S. relations will lead the world towards harmony, cooperation and peace. I believe the world will remember this new historical moment."

This meeting will outline not only the future of the economy but also the future of security, and of course, the technological developments we will see in the near future. We see that this meeting is building a solid foundation for world peace."

The consensus on building a constructive China-U.S. relationship of strategic stability is expected to inject greater stability and certainty into a turbulent world and provide solid support for global economic prosperity, said analysts from various countries.

The analysts made the comments while Trump was paying a three-day state visit to China from Wednesday to Friday, the first U.S. presidential visit to China in nine years and Trump's second since November 2017.

On Thursday, Chinese President Xi Jinping and U.S. President Donald Trump agreed to build a constructive China-U.S. relationship of strategic stability and steer the giant ship of China-U.S. relations in the right direction.

The analysts noted that the new paradigm will provide strategic guidance for China-U.S. relations in the future, even contributing to global peace and stability.

Of course, we understand that there are differences of opinion and contradictions, but when there is a shared desire to find a way to resolve the situation, success is assured," said Andrey Koshkin, head of the Political Analysis and Socio-Psychological Processes Department at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

"President Xi Jinping proposed 'building a constructive China-U.S. relationship of strategic stability.' This is exactly what the world hopes to see, that China and the U.S. can strengthen cooperation, work as partners, and achieve common prosperity. President Xi's new paradigm for China-U.S. relations will lead the world towards harmony, cooperation and peace. I believe the world will remember this new historical moment," said Phinij Jarusombat, former deputy prime minister of Thailand.

"I agree with President Xi for saying -- it should not be a slogan. China and America are the most important, would I call it, allies that the world needs now. We need those two countries to work together," said Sand Kalu, executive director of Africa International Trade and Commerce Research.

The analysts also hailed the prospect of China and the U.S. strengthening cooperation, noting it will benefit global economy.

"The meeting between the Chinese and U.S. leaders is an event with global impact. 'Building a constructive China-U.S. relationship of strategic stability' is meant to not only address the current situation, but also shape the future of the world. This meeting will outline not only the future of the economy but also the future of security, and of course, the technological developments we will see in the near future. We see that this meeting is building a solid foundation for world peace," said Marcela Villa, director of Asian affairs at the School of Economics, University of Santiago in Chile.

Media outlets in countries including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Brazil have also spoken highly of the meeting, noting that China and the U.S. strengthening cooperation will bring stability and benefit people around the world.
