The United Nations expressed concern over the recent development of the conflict between the United States and Iran, calling on both parties to observe their ceasefire.

The U.S. military carried out fresh overnight strikes in Iran, targeting a military site that Washington said posed a threat to U.S. forces and commercial vessels in the region, multiple U.S. media outlets reported on Wednesday.

U.S. forces also intercepted drones launched from Iran, according to CBS News, citing a U.S. official.

The official described the strikes as defensive, asserting the U.S.-Iran ceasefire is still considered to be holding.

Early Thursday, Iranian media reported three explosions east of the port city of Bandar Abbas.

Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps said it carried out strikes Thursday morning targeting a U.S. air base in response to the U.S. attacks against Bandar Abbas.

"We've seen that, but we also are very worried and concerned about the reported exchange of fire we've seen between the U.S. and Iran over the last day or so. And we encourage both parties to respect the ceasefire that they had announced. The SG's (Secretary-General) position, I think, has been consistent from day one. He wants the restoration of full freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz," said Stephane Dujarric, spokesman for UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres at a press briefing.

In a positive development, U.S. and Iranian negotiators have reached an agreement on a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to extend the ceasefire by 60 days and launch talks on Iran's nuclear program, but U.S. President Donald Trump has yet to give his final approval, U.S. media Axios reported Thursday, citing U.S. officials and a regional source.

Iran has also not confirmed its acceptance, though the report, citing U.S. officials, claimed that the Iranian negotiators had said they had the necessary approvals and were prepared to sign.

Les Nations unies ont fait part de leur inquiétude face à l'évolution récente du conflit entre les États-Unis et l'Iran, appelant les deux parties à respecter le cessez-le-feu.

L'armée américaine a mené de nouvelles frappes nocturnes en Iran, visant un site militaire qui, selon Washington, représentait une menace pour les forces américaines et les navires commerciaux présents dans la région, ont rapporté mercredi plusieurs médias américains.

Selon CBS News, citant un responsable américain, les forces américaines auraient également intercepté des drones lancés depuis l'Iran. Le responsable a qualifié ces frappes de défensives, affirmant que le cessez-le-feu entre les États-Unis et l'Iran était toujours considéré comme étant en vigueur.

Jeudi matin, les médias iraniens ont fait état de trois explosions à l'est de la ville portuaire de Bandar Abbas. Le Corps des gardiens de la révolution islamique iranien a déclaré avoir mené jeudi matin des frappes contre une base aérienne américaine en riposte aux attaques américaines contre Bandar Abbas.

Dans une évolution positive, les négociateurs américains et iraniens sont parvenus à un accord sur un protocole d'entente visant à prolonger le cessez-le-feu de 60 jours et à commencer des pourparlers sur le programme nucléaire iranien, mais le président américain Donald Trump n'a pas encore donné son accord définitif, a rapporté jeudi le média américain Axios, citant des responsables américains et une source régionale.

L'Iran n'a pas non plus confirmé son accord, bien que le reportage, citant des responsables américains, affirme que les négociateurs iraniens avaient déclaré disposer des autorisations nécessaires et être prêts à signer.

أعربت الأمم المتحدة عن قلقها إزاء التطورات الأخيرة في الصراع الجاري بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران، داعية الطرفين إلى الالتزام بوقف إطلاق النار.

وأفادت وسائل إعلام أمريكية متعددة، يوم الأربعاء/ 27 مايو الجاري، أن الجيش الأمريكي نفذ ضربات جديدة خلال الليل على إيران، مستهدفاً موقعاً عسكرياً قالت واشنطن إنه يشكل تهديداً للقوات الأمريكية والسفن التجارية في المنطقة.

وذكرت شبكة ((سي بي أس نيوز))، نقلاً عن مسؤول أمريكي، أن القوات الأمريكية اعترضت أيضاً طائرات مسيرة أُطلقت من إيران.

ووصف المسؤول الضربات بأنها "دفاعية"، مؤكدًا أن وقف إطلاق النار بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران لا يزال ساريًا.

وأفادت وسائل الإعلام الإيرانية في وقت مبكر من صباح الخميس بوقوع ثلاثة انفجارات شرق مدينة بندر عباس الساحلية.

وردًا على ذلك، فقد أعلن الحرس الثوري الإيراني أنه نفذ ضربات صباح الخميس استهدفت قاعدة جوية أمريكية في المنطقة.

وعلى الرغم من أن التقرير نقل عن مسؤولين أمريكيين قولهم إن المفاوضين الإيرانيين أشاروا إلى حصولهم على الموافقات اللازمة وكانوا على استعداد للتوقيع، إلا أن إيران لم تؤكد قبولها مذكرة التفاهم بعد.
