China and the European Union (EU) will hold a second meeting of the China-EU trade and investment consultation mechanism in China this autumn, Chinese Ministry of Commerce spokesman He Yadong said at a press conference in Beijing on Thursday.
China's Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao and European Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security and Interinstitutional Relations and Transparency Maros Sefcovic co-chaired the first meeting of the mechanism in Brussels on Monday.
"The China-EU trade and investment consultation mechanism is a newly established, regular exchange platform in the economic and trade field between the two sides.
