The Shenzhou-23 spaceflight mission's three-member crew has carried out a series of scientific experiments at the country's space station in orbit over the past week, as they approach their two-month mark in orbit, while also maintaining the space station and monitoring their health.

According to video footages released by China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) on Sunday, mission commander Zhu Yangzhu and fellow astronauts Zhang Zhiyuan and Lai Ka-ying have conducted experiments on brain activity in microgravity using electroencephalogram (EEG) equipment and virtual reality headsets. Researchers on the ground will analyze the data to better understand how the human brain adapts to the space environment.

The crew has also collected saliva and environmental samples to study how long-term spaceflight affects the immune system and microorganisms. The samples will be returned to the Earth for further analysis.

Other experiments have focused on the astronauts’ movement, decision-making and emotional well-being during extended stays in orbit. The crew also replaced experiment samples in scientific research cabinets used for microgravity studies.

In addition to scientific research, the trio inspected and maintained the space station's life support system, monitored cabin air quality and drinking water conditions, and continued daily exercise to help reduce bone and muscle loss caused by prolonged exposure to microgravity.

China launched the Shenzhou-23 crewed spaceship on May 24. The mission includes a one-year in-orbit study designed to gather data for future long-duration human space missions.

أجرى طاقم مهمة "شنتشو-23" الفضائية المكون من ثلاثة رواد فضاء، سلسلة من التجارب العلمية في محطة الفضاء الصينية الموجودة على المدار خلال الأسبوع الماضي، مع اقترابهم من إتمام شهرين على وجودهم على المدار، إلى جانب قيامهم بأعمال صيانة المحطة ومراقبة حالتهم الصحية.

وبحسب لقطات فيديو نشرتها وكالة الفضاء المأهول الصينية يوم الأحد/ 19 يوليو الجاري، أجرى رواد الفضاء تشو يانغ تشو وتشانغ تشي يوان ولي جيا يينغ تجارب على نشاط الدماغ في بيئة انعدام الجاذبية باستخدام أجهزة تخطيط كهربية الدماغ ونظارات الواقع الافتراضي. وسيقوم الباحثون على الأرض بتحليل البيانات لفهم كيفية تكيف الدماغ البشري مع بيئة الفضاء بشكل أفضل.

كما جمع الطاقم عينات من اللعاب وعينات بيئية لدراسة تأثير الرحلات الفضائية طويلة الأمد على الجهاز المناعي والكائنات الدقيقة. وستُعاد هذه العينات إلى الأرض لإجراء المزيد من التحليل.

وركزت تجارب أخرى على حركة رواد الفضاء، وقدرتهم على اتخاذ القرارات، وحالتهم النفسية خلال فترات إقامتهم الطويلة على المدار. كما قام الطاقم باستبدال عينات التجارب في خزائن الأبحاث العلمية المستخدمة في دراسات انعدام الجاذبية.

وبالإضافة إلى البحث العلمي، قام رواد الفضاء الثلاثة بفحص وصيانة نظام دعم الحياة في محطة الفضاء، ومراقبة جودة الهواء في المقصورة وظروف مياه الشرب، ومواصلة التمارين اليومية للمساعدة في تقليل فقدان العظام والعضلات الناجم عن التعرض المطول لانعدام الجاذبية.

وأطلقت الصين المركبة الفضائية المأهولة "شنتشو-23" في 24 مايو. وتشمل المهمة دراسة مدارية لمدة عام واحد مصممة لجمع البيانات لبعثات الفضاء البشرية طويلة الأمد في المستقبل.

La tripulación integrada por tres astronautas de la misión espacial Shenzhou-23 ha ejecutado una serie de experimentos científicos a bordo de la estación espacial nacional en órbita durante la última semana.
