Strong global demand for artificial intelligence (AI) has boosted China's integrated circuit exports, with the export value of integrated circuit products denominated in yuan increasing 88.7 percent year on year in the first half of the year, official data showed Monday.
Speaking at a press conference held in Beijing, chief engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Wang Weiming briefed the media on the specific data.
"With global demand for artificial intelligence and green and low-carbon transformation remaining robust, export values of integrated circuits, electronic components, and wind turbine generators in the first half of the year, denominated in RMB, surged by 88.7 percent, 62.6 percent, and 35.6 percent year on year, respectively," he said.
