More than 20,000 residents received evacuation orders around Saturday midnight as deadly wildfires rapidly spread across the Canadian province of British Columbia, prompting the local authorities to declare a state of emergency.

Footage from a China Global Television Network (CGTN) stringer shows communities engulfed in flames, with firefighting trucks rushing to contain the onslaught.

Adding to the danger, pyrocumulonimbus clouds have formed, generating lightning strikes without rain and igniting secondary fires, leading to unpredictable firestorms. These fierce conditions have made the fires' trajectories highly uncertain.

Despite the deployment of over 2,000 firefighting personnel, the wildfires remain uncontrolled, posing an increasing threat to communities and residents across the region.

وتُظهر لقطات من مراسل شبكة تلفزيون الصين الدولية (سي جي تي إن) تجمعات سكنية تلتهمها النيران، بينما تهرع شاحنات الإطفاء في محاولة للسيطرة على الحريق الهائل.
