Iran's Persian Gulf Strait Authority (PGSA), the body responsible for maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, said on Wednesday that the Strait of Hormuz remains blocked and it will not be reopened until Iran's conditions are accepted.

"Claims and repeated posts by U.S. officials that the Strait of Hormuz is no longer blocked do not change the reality," it said in a statement.

U.S. President Donald Trump claimed earlier Wednesday on Truth Social that the United States has "total control" over the Strait of Hormuz and will "keep it".

L'Autorité iranienne du détroit du Golfe (PGSA), chargée de la gestion du trafic maritime dans le détroit d'Ormuz, a déclaré mercredi que le détroit restait bloqué et ne serait pas rouvert tant que les conditions de l'Iran ne seraient pas acceptées.

"Les affirmations et les publications répétées de responsables américains selon lesquelles le détroit d'Ormuz n'est plus bloqué ne changent rien à la réalité", a indiqué la PGSA dans un communiqué.

Le président américain Donald Trump avait affirmé plus tôt dans la journée, sur son réseau social Truth Social, que les États-Unis exerçaient un "contrôle total" sur le détroit d'Ormuz et le "conserveraient".

Die iranische Behörde für die Meerengen des Persischen Golfs (PGSA), die für den Seeverkehr in der Straße von Hormus zuständig ist, erklärte am Mittwoch, dass die Straße von Hormus weiterhin gesperrt sei und erst wieder geöffnet werde, wenn die Bedingungen des Iran akzeptiert würden.

„Behauptungen und wiederholte Beiträge US-amerikanischer Vertreter, wonach die Straße von Hormus nicht mehr blockiert sei, ändern nichts an der Realität“, hieß es in einer Erklärung der Behörde.

US-Präsident Donald Trump hatte zuvor am Mittwoch auf Truth Social behauptet, die Vereinigten Staaten hätten die „vollständige Kontrolle“ über die Straße von Hormus und würden diese auch „behalten“.
