"We have solid evidence that the United States and certain other countries have even included food in their war category. If they claim they have nothing to do with our food issues, that is a complete lie. They have been consistently blocking shipments destined for us, and we are fully aware of all of it. Iran has taken preemptive steps based on years of monitoring hostile actions. We have been doing this for decades. One of our measures has been close cooperation with neighboring countries and our allies. We have improved our food storage facilities, activated ports beyond the reach of our enemies, and simultaneously strengthened domestic production. This is currently our main and practical solution. All these measures have proven effective."

Iran's Agriculture Minister Gholamreza Nouri said on Monday that there is evidence showing the United States has included food and essential supplies in its war category against Iran, and pledged that Tehran will take all necessary measures to safeguard the country's food security.
Speaking in a press conference, Nouri accused the United States of maintaining a double-standard policy toward Iran in areas including human rights, food security, and healthcare for years. He said Iran has long been subjected to malicious interference from hostile countries, and that the United States and some other countries have expanded their confrontational approach to encompass food supplies.
Despite the ongoing U.S. blockades, Iran will utilize every necessary measure to ensure the national food security, according to the minister.
