Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Monday that he is willing to work with King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein to contribute to regional peace, stability and prosperity.
Xi made the remarks in Beijing during his talks with King Abdullah II, who is on a state visit to China from August 18 to 24.
"I appreciate that you attach importance to developing relations with China and have visited China multiple times. Since China and Jordan established diplomatic ties 49 years ago, we have always treated each other with mutual respect and equality and pursued mutually beneficial cooperation. Our relationship has become a vivid portrayal of win-win cooperation and mutual learning and exchanges between countries with different social systems and of different sizes," Xi said.
