China's logistics industry prosperity index, which tracks prosperity of the country's logistics market, rose 0.5 percentage points from a month earlier to 50.9 percent in August, the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing said on Saturday.
A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below 50 reflects contraction.
By region, the total logistics business volume indices for the eastern, central, and western regions posted month-on-month increases to varying degrees, all remaining in expansion territory.
