China's consumer price index (CPI), a main gauge of inflation, rose 0.8 percent year on year in August, official data showed Wednesday.

Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics showed that in August, affected by changes in international market prices and other factors, CPI in August increased 0.4 percent month on month, reversing a 0.1 percent decline in July.

Core CPI, which removes volatile food and energy prices, advanced 1.0 percent on an annual basis.

The producer price index (PPI) jumped 3.8 percent year on year, while posting a 0.4 percent month-on-month gain that turned around from a 0.7 percent drop in July.

The bureau attributed the PPI rebound to the upward trend in global commodity prices.

Les niveaux de prix en Chine ont poursuivi leur reprise modérée en août, reflétant une amélioration soutenue de la demande intérieure grâce à des mesures politiques de soutien.

Selon les données publiées mercredi par le Bureau national des statistiques (BNS), l'indice des prix à la consommation (IPC) a augmenté de 0,4% en glissement mensuel en août, inversant ainsi trois mois consécutifs de baisse, tandis que la hausse en glissement annuel est passée de 0,5% à 0,8%.

Dong Lijuan, statisticienne du BNS, a attribué cette hausse à plusieurs facteurs : la hausse des prix de l'énergie, les hausses saisonnières des prix des denrées alimentaires, la croissance continue des services de voyage pendant la période des vacances d'été, ainsi que la hausse des prix des smartphones et des ordinateurs due à la forte demande en puissance de calcul.

L'IPC de base, qui exclut les prix des denrées alimentaires et de l'énergie, a légèrement augmenté pour atteindre 1% en glissement annuel, contre 0,9% le mois précédent.

علاوة على ذلك، قفز مؤشر أسعار المنتجين بنسبة 3.8 في المائة على أساس سنوي، مسجلا ارتفاعا بنسبة 0.4 في المائة على أساس شهري، بعد انخفاضه بنسبة 0.7 في المائة في يوليو.

وعزت المصلحة انتعاش مؤشر أسعار المنتجين إلى الاتجاه التصاعدي في أسعار السلع العالمية.

　中国の消費者物価指数（CPI）は8月に、前年比0.8%上昇した。また、食品とエネルギー価格を除くコアCPIは1%上昇となった。中国国家統計局が9日発表した。

　国際市場価格の変動などの影響で、8月のCPIは前月の0.1%下落から持ち直し、前月比0.4%上昇した。

　また、生産者物価指数（PPI）は前月比で0.4%上昇、前年比3.8%上昇となった。
