1. Poster released by Eastern Theater Command of People's Liberation Army to mark Taiwan Recovery Day

The People's Liberation Army (PLA) Eastern Theater Command released a themed poster on Sunday for Taiwan Recovery Day.

Titled "Remember the history of recovery and defend the unity of motherland", the poster blends historical images, national symbols and patriotic sentiments.

It solemnly expresses the PLA's firm resolve and strong capability to safeguard historical facts, protect the fruits of victory, and uphold national unity.

China's recovery of Taiwan in 1945 was a hard-won victory in the Chinese people's resistance against Japanese aggression during World War II, and a defining moment in the nation's struggle to safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
